We have worked with the Department of Education for many years and when they found a new (and much larger) home for their student health teams, Axess was invited to tender and subsequently engaged by the Department of Education to undertake the fitout of their 500m2 tenancy in Kilsyth.
Having being constructed in the 90’s as a research laboratory it required significant works to turn it into an inviting, team focused hub.
Consulting closely with the client and designers we provided everything from site and project management, through switchboard upgrades, plumbing connections, custom made joinery and furniture throughout the fitout which included open plan workspaces, new bathrooms, new breakout areas as well as small to large meeting rooms with operable walls to allow for large gatherings.
The staff had been based in various offices and schools throughout the area and to be able to bring them together in a fresh, new environment was fulfiling to them as well as to the department and us.
The pops of colour throughout the new fitout made for a bright and fun finish to handover on time and budget.
